I had a problem with my new kme 60 engine making a noise so i sent a detailed email to jerome explaining my problem and i was surprised to get an immediate response so that was a big plus in their favor.

Jerome told me to send the engine in for him to have a look at.
When he got the engine and checked it over he told me that i had probably run it a little lean from the start so i thought fair enough my fault and i asked him to give me a repair cost.

Jerome told me to make it as new again it would need a new crank piston and ring plus a connecting rod. now here comes the best part when i asked how much jerome said it was free of charge

Now that is what i call excellent customer service now all i can say to anybody thinking of getting a new engine for their 600 size heli is that if you want great aftersale service you won't get any better than you get at KME.

I am an overseas customer and i will be buying from them again

cheers

chris

For what the parts cost them, you'll be buying another engine sometime, and they'll gain customers from your post as well. My boss calls that sacrficing short term profit for a much larger long term gain.

I agree with that, i run a small garage here in the uk and if you d'ont look after your customers there is always someone who will.
Repeat business is better than a one off.

But beleive me you don't get much good service from many model shops here a few are great but alot are rubbish

I purchased a KME rngine about a month ago and am just waiting to get a project going to put it in. Some one on here mentioned they were coming out with their own carb so I went to their web-site and sure enough on the home page was a message saying if you had purchased a .60 just show proof of purchase and $ for shipping and they will send you one. That in its self is great.
I sent an e-mail to the them inquiring how to get them the info etc... and within minutes had a response saying to keep an eye on the web-site around the first of April and there will be instructions on how to proceed. He also stated "not too worry there will be enough for every one"lol.
So while I havn't even flown this engine I think I like it.
