Most people are talking about Turnigy these days. Last year the Zippy Fligthmax packs were popular. Some people like the Rhino packs but they have been less popular lately. Personally I have seen many Turnigy packs lately and they seem pretty solid.

I thought it might be the turnigy.

I've been buying cheapo backs of an ebay dealer from china, and they've lasted very well. worked out better than paying 5x for a 'qaulity' pack. but his supply has dried up

i'll give HK a go

A lot of the turnigy battery is out stock right now from HK too. I've been waiting for 2 weeks for some 6s 30c battery. I hope they get it soon. Is turnigy better than zippys or are they pretty much the same.

I have use their batteries from ABF, Zippy blue, Zippy -R, Zippy FlightMax, Turnigy and Rhino. Out of them all, I think Rhino packs last the longest.

I bought the 2x Rhino along with 2x Zippy Blues, After Blues died I bought 4x FlightMax last spring, 2 of FlightMax batteries are now dead, last two of the FlightMax has shorten their flight time a few weeks ago and starting to puff after flights. Rhino is still strong and just last week I notice the short flight time on it, no puff.

Rhinos are better built and better quality, where Zippy/Turnigy balance connector seem to come off at solder point.
