Yesterday I took the 'goose to the field to give a little flight demo for my son-in-law and two of my granddaughters. When I got to the field, there was quite a bit more wind than there had been at the house. It was enough that I would have kept the other helos on the ground, but the with the size of the Mongoose, I flew it any way.
The flight was fast and smooth! I did several approaches and landings. My family was impressed with both the Mongoose and my much improved flying skills! The last time my granddaughter watched me fly I was just in the hover, slow circuit stage.
When I got home and looked at my log book, this was the 57th flight and Ramoth (all my helos are named after dragons) now has 8 1/2 flight hours!
