I find that pretty hard to believe.

If you look at it from a technical standpoint:
-v-bar flies better than flybarred, always.
-airframe weight is roughly the same
-a 10s 4200+ mah with a scorpion 4035-560 should be making a ton more power than the standard 6hv 12s 2500 mah setup.

I suspect you're flying a rather unhealthy logo 600, poorly setup perhaps.

But regardless, get that flybarless 6hv out, I'll pick one up, and perhaps I'll be converted to compass.

Having dealt with both helis. I would say something wasen't setup right on the Logo 600 or some other issue. With the right 10s(the one most logo guys fly) setup the Logo 600 is a power house.

Both are great helis and I don't think you could go wrong eather way.
