I have a couple sets of the new Sab Blades...and I tried the 620's on my Flybarless RJX..

I honestly didn't feel any improvement over the MAH wide Chord 600's I was running..

Any one else out there been flying these blades and have an opinion?

I only have 1 flight on them and I took them off...but I will be testing them more as soon as I get my logo 600 back up and flying..

just curious if others are liking these blades?

I like the looks of them and was thinking of getting some 63mm x 710's for my Trex 700 (Vbar), but I will wait for further testing. I am flying the Scott Gray's right now and love them, very smooth and track like razors.

How do they compare to the Red Devils? Are the balance and weights different?

Flew them again today
I flew them on my RJX flybarless 10s machine...and hated them..

Very disappointing..

these weigh 142 grams as compared tothe 129 gram MAH's I have been running..

the Collective was terrible as was the cyclic response...

I did a test flight this morning

I don't have a set of 620 red devils or 600 red devils to compare to...sorry

RJX
Aside from the heli being very heavy...and underpowered by my standards...it is AWESOME!

I have loved the way the rjx's fly ever since getting your RJX nitro Chris

I had a feeling that the new blades were going to begin to be too heavy for what we are looking for these days on FBL. The old SAB and Red Devil SAB blades actually work good for FBL already.

Thing is Stefano stated they are not and will not be making the red devils no more at all, only in their newest style I guess, personally I think that is a bad decision on their part. Pair of newest 600s I'm trying are 134-135 grams each, so in around same weight as Edge blades in that size.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

SAB's
I weighed my 620's and they are 138grams

My SAB 600's from this vid are 142g...so they are even heavier than the 620's

I weighed the Gohbee 620's I like and they come in at 138grams also..these have achord widt of 55mm which is the SAME as the Edge..

The SAB's have a chord width of 57mm

the New SWE 630's are 49mm wide and 128grams...I haven't had a chance to try them yet...but soon..

right now I am flying the "Heli Professional 606mm" main blades

these are 58mm wide and weigh 128grams
They fly about as well as the CHEAPO MAH wide chords I have been flying..

BTW...I have a set of EDGE 603's here also...and they have a chord width of 55mm and weigh in at 140grams

I just got a pair of the new black SAB 550's, which on the website say are the best for flybarless. I will let you know how they fly.

Any comments about these new Sabs? I have ordered the 690 0221-R to use with my 700E/mini V-bar. I want a very fast setup but I couldn't find any info or video in the web! Even the weight and difference between the 3 type of new Sabs 690!
The sab web page does not provide any information or flight characteristics

I got two sets of Sab 0221-R from Flying Hobby.
This is what they show in their site http://www.flying-hobby.com/shop/sa...ign-p-6425.html
The tips are like the Rotortech 690 but I got two sets with the normal tip.
I was expecting the ones showed in the pic.
Anyway, the blades look awesome and their weight is 171 grams and the other set, 168 grams! Pretty light blades.
