For a scale MT setup I'm looking for suggestions for the above equipment and settings...

I'm going to likely switch to CF Stealth blades from HeliDirect.

I had a previous MT that I had Hitec HS65 servos in, but recall having to shim them to get them to fit properly. Aside from the ACE servos, are there any others out there that fit without modification?

Any for the tail, S9257, 3500G, any others that will fit within the fuse without a problem? I also intend to sleeve the pushrod in some cf tube to strengthen it.

I may stick with a 3s setup, so what would you guys recommend for a good motor for scale use, light aerobatics and enough grunt to get out of trouble?

I may also elect to go with a Outrage G5 power system, 1600-1700kv motor and 6s1300 pack if I can verify that it'll fit under both the Cobra and UH-1 fuses.

I'm already kinda aware of the tracking issues that a lot of people have had. So far mine seems to be ok, but I'm not adverse to upgrading to metal to prevent future issues. How is the quality on CNCHeli's parts?

in both my MT's, one plastic and an SE I use the HS 56's NOT the 65's(I didn't want to do any mods).they drop in with NO mods and everything lines up fine.plenty of torque/speed for scale flying and light aerobatics

if you want a motor with a little more grunt the MTSE motor is 3700KV and is designed to be a direct fit.

neither of my MT's had any tracking issues.but I have upgraded to some metal(on the NON SE) as things wore out or got..aaaheem..broken.usually the CNC stuff is only a few bucks more so its a no brainer.all CNC parts are high quality and fit perfect and perform great.for example when the plastic washout base started getting slop a metal replacement was only a few dollars more,so why not.same with the head bloc once the shaft hole started to get egg shaped.buy a CNC one and you are good for a while
