a 2cell pack should charge to 8.4v. are you sure it's not reading per-cell voltage?

thats ok... once you take it off the charger the voltage would go down on it... you can get a volt meter and read the total voltage... i believe my cellpro 10s charges my cells to 4.205

4.22 is good to go.

4.20 is max and a little over is fine.

I'd say 4.25 is high if it came to that, but you're fine.
