Wow ,didnt know that
Be great if you had a syndicate and bought a kit,be a great thing to own ,especially if you had pilots ,wanabee pilots and maintenance engineers involved in ownership.Dang if it worked out you might end up with a squadron

not sure of the company name, but when I went to Oshkosh one year in the mid '70's, there was a company that had a complete line of downsized WWII fighters in kit form for sale. Zero's, ME109's, P-51', P-40's. They were the coolest thing that week I thought. The ULTIMATE kit build IMO. I'd work on one for free if I knew somebody building one.

The airplane absolutely cool and must be a joy to fly. The paint job is kind of humorous, though. There's a famous color photo of a P-51 like that from WWII. The problem is the early Ektacrome film and processing made reflections from the sky on the shiny aluminum look like a paint job. Now every P-51 model kit and full size airplane has that paint job. There's a full size one sitting on the ramp at Baton Rouge with the same paint job as this airplane in the video.

The price on the plane looks pretty reasonable.

that's pretty cool BUT...

It needs a prop about TWICE as big for it to look like a Mustang and...

The back of the canopy needs to be fit a bit better.

Anyone ever seen the Thunder Mustang?
