LE solved the link issues, and has the better gears. No other major issues.
Bottom line is the 700 rocks. You will love it.

Even if you buy a used kit from the very first run the only thing you'll really need to do is change the links for the new -1 part number. I would also check the clutch gap, they were too big and that's why there were a number of broken clutches. You can also change the main gear out for the newer -1 part number but the stock one is holding up fine for me so far. I even use the plastic clutch pinion block, sanded the two halves so the cinch down on the bearing a bit tighter.

I'd replace all the frame bolts with aftermarket bolt/washer kit. $20 to make sure you don't get a bolt frozen into the frame.

Just be aware of the fuel cost to feed that 91 - other than that you should like it!

EDIT - If I bought a new LE kit today I wouldn't change anything. Just check the clutch gap and reline the bell if it's more than .008" (.2mm).

i love 700 not because of the heli, but because u can get parts everywhere like a nokia phone ... Hahhaha, i do still fly the 600 and still love them since 600 can produce power as same as 90 by having big bore engine ie 55 60 or 70, or get turbo crank engine nova 57, at the moment am using the ported 50 and love the performance very well, and am thinking of 60 or 70 should more better then the 50 or 55

if u are buying used.. have some spare collar frame screws or even better get aftermarket frame screws like lynx..

this has been discussed many times here on rr so i was not surprised when i stripped a few frame screws when i wanted to swap to lynx.. btw, my tools are good.. not some cheap L shape allens..

had to dremel some of the screws so i cud use a screwdriver to remove them.
