I got my hands on a Mini V-Bar. My question is where do I mount it? On the tray over the boom or where I mounted the traditional V-bar sensor. I have one of the orginal Logo 400 kits where they included a sensor tray to make up the 3 degree difference between the mainshaft and tray.

thanks,

John

either place is fine, however if you do mount it on the upper tray, make a bridge out of plastic/lexan/aluminum whatever as the two frame pieces do flex a bit if you but the unit across them, giving you some unwanted drifting.

I used this one and I'm quite happy with it.

Hi guys ,

I used a methacrylate sheet of 3 mm double-sided tape and it works perfect, have gone all kinds of disturbances due to vibration of the heli.

Also can be used as well discussed , aluminum, carbon fiber, etc .
