UM, I hate to burst your bubble but I see some plastic between the slider and grips.

LOL...
You HAD to say that didn't you...

okay...it's 95% metal...maybe some one I know will come up with a metal solution to those plastic links as well

Here's the parts list :

I2 Engineering Metal Boom Clamps
I2 Spacer and tensioner set
Rjx metal tail hub/grips # Up60528
Rjx tail Pitch lever # XT60054
Rjx Slider assembly# XT60050
Rjx Tail Pulley#XT60055

Mikado metal tail lever mount #MIK3077
Mikado flanged bearings #MIK3069

Fusuno Tail fin and Box side# FUP008
Kaos tail Shaft# Hr1158

and thats it!

That's not a metal Logo tail...its a metal tail put on a Logo!

Great job! It looks real nice but IMO if I wanted to bling up my heli with metal I'd buy Align My stock Logo 600 flies too nice to even bother changing anything.

Bling...
it wasn't done for bling purposes...

the Mikado tail parts are good until you start spinning 105's and when you crash...

The metal tail grips and slider are much stronger and fully capable of handling the 105mm tails.

the metal pitch lever is slop free...unlike the flimsy plastic mikado lever..

I have shredded many a plastic tail pulleys also ...when the belt starts to ride the side of the plastic pulley they melt rather quickly...so I guess I see this as a functionality upgrade...not really a bling upgrade....but it does look that way...

I'm not a huge fan of paying $17 for a replacement tail hub on the stock tail either...

ALSO....this is on a logo 700...spinning 710's and 105mm tails..

This got me going.......checking I see that the century metal pitch slider is right, so the hub and grips (Trip ball brg w/ thrust)would work as well. No crank available though.

Swift parts
I know alot of the swift tailp arts do in fact work...

also..the Align trex 600 slider/hub/grips work also...

I just don't think the quality of the Align is good enough for me to want to run their grips on the tail..

The Quick UK tail grips/hub for the raptor or trex 600 work well also..

So far the RJX tail pitch lever is the only metal one I have found that works well with the logo open tail box...

BTW---
check this out...this is what the metal tail clamps look like up close...

there is Non Slip Rubber on the inside so they grip the Boom Insanely well...no need to ever worry about the boom slipping...that's for sure..

Please don't tell me you base your judgement that plastic flies better than metal by comparing Mikado stuff to Align. Please.

I think he is saying the Germans designed it good but the Chinese took a C&@P on it.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Man, I'm probably going to get in trouble for that.

Don't beat yourself up- without inequality, there would be no need to progress.

Nice tail solution though!
