Ok so basically I have a new 8s 600esp Now but I miss gass/nitro engines so I want to sell it and get something, well I don't want a 600 or 700n cause nitro cost so I was thinking 500n but those cost as much as a bigger heli, so how much would it b to convert a 600n cause I don't know about the motor and all that... I want to fly it hard 3d, to give u a idea on my old t500 I got 3min from a 2500 pulled out 80% so I flew it tough... I've seen a couple of videos put the 600g just looks heavy in alot of them, also I don't want a 700 size cause of crash cost

Also what kind of 3d flight time on the biggest motor you can fit in it do u get and I'm assuming you still get around 8 fillups per gallon

Ya I went to their website... The 20cc doesn't look enough power for me, is there a way to run a bigger motor?

Buy a Wally motor. It should have enough power for you.

Wally's modified 21cc is the same size physical size as the 20cc. But you'll have to get Ali from HeliBug to make you a Trex 600G frame. I don't think he has finished the prototype yet. He lives in Allen, so you might want to go visit him in person and tell him what you are looking for.

You're never going to get the same power out of a nitro or gasser as you will with an electric. But if you like long flight times on the cheap, a gasser is the way to go.

ya thats the problem, i would like longer times but dont want the weight of a gasser and dont want to pay to fill up nitro tanks... i might just stick with the 8s 600 maybe try to put 550's on it and a shorter boom then maybe get a 700e once they have been out for a while

Buy a generator to charge your batteries at the field. Then you can fly your 8S packs all day.

the problem is a generator that could do 10amps would be a couple of grand and use more gas than my car lol

A Honda EU2000i will do 16A and costs $1000. It runs for 15 hours on 1 gallon of gas.

You must understand that you will never get the performance of the nitro or electric heli but you get long flight times and cheap fuel !
You can see some clips on youtube how gasser performs !

We have a saying in our language which basicaly says :
" You would like to get shagged but without penetration "

Please do not take this as an offence as my intention was not to offend you but just to illustrate impossibility of your wishes !

There is one omore :
" If the granny should have the penis then she would not be the granny "

So this one says that the gasser will never be nitro or electric !

The flight times are too long ( at least half an hour ) , a few days ago I was running the engine in and I had the feeling that I will never empty my tank. I think that it lasted for 50 minutes as I kept the low headspead ! I had to take a few breaks as my hands got stuck keeping the radio !

So , I wish you all the best and I hope that you will get the gasser as you will not regret it !

Good luck with that one. You'll have to manufacture your own frames. I'm sure it could be done, but it would take some engineering skill (and a machine to cut carbon fiber).

Yes it flies pretty well and it is not so heavy compared to Predator gasser ( it is much bigger and heavier ).
So far 20 ei ( or even better 21cc modified ) is the best engine for T rex gasser. If you manage to put the 30 cc engine in a new frame you could let us know about it but noone has done it yet !
