Hi
Having trouble with tx calibration. To achive 100% on the end points in the calibration window my tx end points seem too far out. Elev 113 and 120,,Aile 118 and 118,,rud 118 and 116. Also at centre stick the calibration window is not at zero. Do i use sub trim to achive zero at centre stick? Could this be a problem with my radio not outputing 1.5ms at centre stick.
All my trims are centre and sub trim is zero!

I have watched mrmel videos but no mention about zero at centre stick on calibration just tells you to achive 100% throws.

You use subtrims to get the center @ zero. Use the endpoints to get 100% on both ends. I do it in this order:
(1) Servo Reversing (get it right in the VBAR program with your radio)

(2) Center: (use subtrims)

(3) End Points

Works every time .......Ron

Thanks laughingstill
Using subtrim?
Wouldn't this affect the mechanical setup at centre stick? My mechanical setup required very little subtrim before i added the vbar and am assuming putting sub trim in now would effect the mechanical setup between the servo horns and bell cranks.

You handle that with servo center later, adjust so TX Calibration is good to go then you dont touch the radio more, all of the rest is made in the program.
