cyclic help
Hey guys,

I have a v2 and need help with cyclic. It seems to bog when I try to do tic-tocs. I'm sure some of it is poor control input management but I would like to get the best performance possible. I have a futaba 7c tx/rx and am running os50 hyper/lightweight (green paddles), cheap cf blades, and a stock muffler (just ordered an mp5). Also, I will be ordering better blades today but haven't decided which kind yet. What is the pitch on your cyclic? Also, do I need swash to throttle mixing? If I do need swash to throttle mix, how do I go about doing this on my futaba 7c and how much? Thanks for your help.

P.S... any blade recommendations would be helpful too.

Rotortech blades
Throttle to cyclic mixing if no governor
8 degrees of cyclic throw is plenty.

that MP5 will definatly help, better blades will help as well (i perfer EDGE)
and run a "V curve" on your throttle curves. even if you have a governor it doesnt bog as much. (from my expirence today!)
and cram as much cyclic throw in as you can. i have a llitle bit of binding in the corners and its plenty
also, get a pair of KBDD paddles, use the rear hole and it can fly like a trex 600!

Ive tryed a few brands of blades and the ones I liked were the 600mm Mavrikk G5 pro wide cores and 600mm Radix and V paddles or Radix super stubz for paddles. If you have the older Raptor 50V2 they fly kinda heavy even with any aftermarket parts or head on it.Don't get me wrong because you can change blades, paddles ect.. to get it to fly better but the best upgrade is the full Titan SE head and its a tad bit over $100.00 bucks. Not sure how to do throttle mixing on Futaba but im sure someone can help you if you ask in the Radio section https://rc.runryder.com/f129p1/ .You can also pick up a good gov in the classifieds for $50.00 bucks or so.600LE,OS55,OS PowerBoost pipe,Align 610's,Spartan
