Trex 600 /Norarossi57/3G FBL
I like to heard from anyone and everyone who's flying or trying to fly this setup. I'm have trouble with to much viberations from motor on spool up. So you put just enough foam tape on gyro to get it off ground but then it's to much foam to 3D with ....

I'm all ears Thanks

Never mind i removed it..

I am running the 3G with the Norarossi 57 on my 600n. I did have the tail kick out on me during the initial setup. Once the 3G was setup I have had no real issues. I am running my head speed at 2150. What a beast the power is endless.

how much gains are you using on this setup
at that head speed mine goes very critical on take off - I end up leaping off the ground to avoid tipping over

Is there anyone else using the 57 with the 3g and what head speeds are you using

I can only get mine stable at 1950 but at that speed I keep dropping off the pipe speed ranage

1950 on the head is quite a way below where the NR57 wants to play.

2200 is about the right headspeed for this engine on the Align 600n.

Which isn't helpful if your electronics aren't happy above the lower headspeed. Can you lower the gains, or check for some kind of vibration that may be upsetting the sensor?

I'm doing this same setup G3/.57 on a 600n. I am about to maiden it this weekend. Should I be expecting it to be unstable on take off?

YES I burned a weekend (over a gallon fuel)trying everything to find the sweet spot . Just enough foam let me hover and fly FF but then couldn't 3D. If i when to thin foam with /without plates thin and thick i couldn't get to off the ground for the vibes. The closest i got to right was with the sensor on the boom block, thin spartan foam /plate thin foam to sensor. Then for no reason it piro flipped into the ground and i give up.... I think something is wrong with my controller beside update firmware. On spoolup my nova 57 has alot of vibes causing sensor to move the swash around on spoolup making it impossible to pop it up.. Good Luck. i can't afford it play trail and error.. Again I feel something is wrong with my controller/sensor..Sponsored by Visa

You said upon spooling up the Nova57 has a lot of vibration. What caused the excessive vibration in the 57?

My NR57 is only a few tanks old, so not fully run in yet. It does seem to create more of a buzz on spool-up (boom-stays go through a heavy vibe phase) and the heli does seem to paddle about a bit before I get it off the ground.

Before, with the 50 Hyper it was smooth as silk on spool up.

That said - and I don't want to turn this into oe of THOSE threads for you - my VBar takes the unsettled ground behaviour in its stride. I suspect you may be correct withthe diagnosis on your 3G - something may be amiss with it. You certainly wouldn't be the first, from what I've read here and elsewhere.

Good luck with sorting the issue -immensely frustrating I am sure.

Yes i'm waiting for a RMA # and back to Taiwan it goes for check up and updtes... Guess I will wait for it to come back then decide to try again on 600 or borrow FBL from friend and try on my 700 or just sell it.. I do feel there something wrong with the unit... You can spool up the nova 57 pretty smooth but you need to do it very slow. Also i could/should have lowered my Thro Curves in normal mode as my HS just before lite on skids was around 1950-2000HS. As i run idle 1@ 2150HS Idle 2 @ 2200HS.. Once up to 1850hs or better the heli is smooth as silk.. All this is JMO ...Sponsored by Visa
