WooohooO!
My 600 is finally done, setup complete and tested, and even a few tanks run through it!! Granted the majority of the fuel was done during setup, trim, etc because the heli likes to fly me, not the other way around. A HUGE thanks to Mike here in Leesville for all the awesome help in the setup and triming, etc! This thing is awesome!

I can't wait to try and hover this baby again!

Now for some pics!

Was a GORGEOUS next to no wind day today as well. I did get a short video on my phone of Mike flying it around a bit but I have to re-format the vid to get it to play. I think I'm missing a codec or something for it.

Again, thank you to everyone for all the advice and help!

Thanks! I owe a LOT to Mike as I just put the stuff together. He's the one who made sure the setup was right and that the engine was tuned right for the break in. Between the setup and tweeking of the gyro and other stuff, as well as a bit hovering from myself and him triple checking everything, we burned through like 3 tanks of fuel already! I'm thinking 1 or 2 more tanks and then the engine can be tuned a bit more and it'll be done!

I'm sooo happy and can't believe *I* put something like that together! I can't wait to hover it again but won't fly alone. Mike saved my *** today on my last hover! lol.

VERY NICE!
That bird looks familiar
Hey bud, it looks like you are using the green fuel line that came with the kit, I would recommend you swap it out. Mine didn't last long and I got lucky that I was messing with the clunk and caught it before it was too late

Thanks for all the compliments. As for the fuel line, that's not what came in the kit. I do however have a few small pieces of the kit stuff in there which I plan to change out. The green was some extra line that I bought mainly to use with my fuel pump n stuff. But after reading some about the kit's fuel line, I ran the green stuff. I have other stuff on the way now to replace it all with.

Other than the line possibly cracking or whatever, I'm just learning to hover now so I don't think it matters quite as much. However, going to replace it all to be safe.

Yeah the guys I met at the FunFly told me I should. I will admit I forget why. Might I ask why again? I'm having a brain-fart on it.

Because if you doink your heli, odds on you will bend the pitch arms on the blade grips when they come up and meet the head button.

Very nice heli too, you're going to love it.

Man I wish I'd heard about that trick before taking out both my 600LE grips in a wee earth meeting excursion a few weeks ago...
Couldnt believe how they both bent, yet no links were bent?
