Odd 3G issue (head speed related)
I have 2 complete Trex 500ESP/3G combos. Both are pretty much perfect (one has a slight tail fin fuzz after I rekitted the bird a couple weeks back ) In any case, they pretty much fly identical, and pretty much perfect. Both use Align DS510 servos on cyclic, Align 3G FBL and 3G Head

I have a 3rd T500 that started off as a T500CF. Same motor and ESC as the ESP. 3x Hitec 5245mg digital servos on swash. RJX FBL head, and 3G FBL unit. On the RJX head, the grip arms extend further from the spindle, so I moved out one hole on servo arms to give me near identical pitch ranges at same swash percentages as the ESP birds.

This thing just acts weird in flight. I have identical settings between the 2 ESP and T500CF airframes. Same swash percentages, same expo, pitch curves, etc.

In flight, the T500CF is a bit less stable in normal mode (80% throttle) that the other 2 birds. In idle 1 (85%) it gets a bit more flighty. Feels like not enough expo. When I go to idle 2 (95% throttle) it gets downright unstable. Wants to roll over to the left and forward, and super sensitive on cyclic. Essentially unflyable. As I said,, radio settings are identical between the 2ESP birds and the 500CF. Same 3G setup. The only material differences are slightly slower servos, and a slightly different mechanical setup where the head has more grip arm spacing, and that allowed longer servo arms. Going unstable at higher head speeds feels like maybe I am too high on 3G gain, so I dropped both elevator and aileron to about 30% (9:00 O'clock) and still seeing same issue.

Any ideas?
