Flybar Length
Ive been running the 440mm Align flybar on my Velocity , the stock one is 400mm, I haven't run the same paddle combination on both, but from my experience with other machines I know that the longer flybar will tend to speed up cyclic response. Has anyone else been experimenting with longer flybar lengths?? I cant vouch for any kind of improvement / drawback one way or the other, but I'm sure the factory guys settled on the stock length for some reason, is anyone else experimenting with longer flybars or care to expand on this.

With the 600 increasing the flybar length was the only option to speed up the cyclic after lighter paddles ect. The head on the Velocity can be adjusted to accomplish this. I haven't met anyone who complains about the Velocity being slow on the cyclic. Just go over the head and move all of the ball links into the advanced/3D or very advanced/3D positions and I'm sure you'll be more than satisfied.

Charley, Henry, Steven and Austin did extensive testing with a variety of flybar lengths and Charley decided on the 400mm based on everyone's input as it was the best overall length to maintain the stability, aggressive performance and the quickness we were all looking for.

With that being said you can certainly buy a bunch of different length fly bars and gather you own intel and you may like a different length, but the 400mm was the best overall and was what Charley felt performed the best to go into the kit.
