Yeah, he definitely does like to fly "below sea level". He's an awesome pilot, for sure... but I'd like to see guys start flying bigger again, like it used to be. I know that the smackdown flying has been a big draw for awhile now, but I've actually gotten to enjoy watching the bigger, flying maneuvers much more. The Scott G. and Curtis Y. style of flying. But I'll give it to those smackdown guys.. they have lightspeed reflexes that I can only dream of having.Jeff

No, he did not crash it.

I have that video saved to one of my hard drives.
It would take some serious digging for me to find it. I'll see what I can find. I'll put it on youtube as soon as I find it.

The grass cutting in the video isn't quite as spectacular as the picture.

He put the helicopter into a low inverted hover, and SLOWLY, eased the heli lower & lower.
He made contact with the ground for only a split second then punched it to full negative for a power climbout. The he landed it.

I was there, it was the Don Lowe Masters at the triple tree aerodrome in SC. The venue is as spectacular as all the flying!

Truly amazing, I remember the dirt flying up off the rotorblades!

Sorry no video, just a good memory.
