Whats the diffrence
What is the diffrence between lets say turnigy 6s 5000mah 30c lipo 22v.......then using 2x 3s 5000mah 30c in series 22v......because acording to one shop rep none perticular,,,he says that you will only get half the time on the 2 lipos in series then the 1 6s.he swore white is white....i told him i beg to differ..he then got realy s###y with me.............am i right in saying that its just like splitting the 6s down into 2 lipos r am i wrong.........kind regards helinelly

6s is 6 cells in series. 2 3s in series is 6 cells in series. The only issue that I can think of is that charging the 6s with a balancer, all 6 cells will have the same voltage. If you charge each 3s independently, then 3 will be balanced (same voltage) and the other 3 will be balanced, but may not be the same voltage as the first 3. I would probably want to rig up a balance plug that allows them to be balanced as though it was one 6s to maintain the voltage the same across all 6 cells.
