Help with Sceadu E-conversion
Hi,
Got a quick quuestion. i am using a 80AMP ESC that claims it can handle up to 14s Lipo and a 36-88-1280 motor with 2 turingy 5s 3300mAh batteries in series (so 10s).
i am also using the stock .50 gearing it comes with the kit.

What would cause the ESC to fry? Obviously it was too much current withdrawn, but the set up was supposed to handle the load. Defective ESC? Wrong pitch/throttle curves?

ANY ideas?

Sorry if it soumds stupid, but it's my first stabb at it..

Thanks!

JT

Sounds like a bad ESC.

I use a Kontronik Jazz 55-10-32 on my E-EVO-50 (2 5s 4000mAh packs in series. Have never had a problem in the 4+ years that I have been flying it.

80 amps is sufficient ESC for an HV 600 class set up like yours. Likely a bad ESC, not your set up.
