Zenoah G20 Twin Project
Hi
I started putzing around on the G20 twin project and thought i would post some photos of making the center disk and setting up the crank

the center disk looks like an easy part to produce , but the tolerances have to be exact , and measuring and layout prove to be quite an interesting problem

i will post photos of the crank case once i start machining , thought you guys would get a kick out of seeing this , thanks

Hi Max

yes , it is modeled after the Zenoah GT80 twin , but built with Zenoah G20 cylinders , so it will be a 40cc boxer twin , i am thinking i will do a conversion for a Raptor 90

.

LMAO! Ok PG, Don't tease us like that and not finish the story. How the hell did you get the canoe out of your room?

I got lucky. High enough ceiling. Floor to ceiling angle then sprung the centerpoint when it jammed pulling it around (canvas covered)..

My old Dad was pretty tolerant..he'd noticed way back and waited for me to finish the biuld and figure it for myself..

A bit like the (earlier) time he let me and best friend build a log raft on the front drive. We lived half mile fom the river and he'd figured out that the thing was going to weigh about a ton when we'ld finished. A good chunk of the summer holidays felling trees and dragging them home and lashing them up...

Of course once we'd figured it out for ourselves.. that no-way were we going to be able to drag the thing to the river.. well that time he did veto my solution (dig a canal)..but that was only because we'ld have had to go through 2 other people's gardens for the straight line..

Hi
here are some photos , the two case halves have their adjoining faces flycut and mated , then the blocks are drilled , taped and bolted together , next step is to mount the assembly in a four jaw and center bore for the main bearings
