You really want to feel how locked in a Vibe 50 is, stick a Velocity 50 head on it and then give it a test flight, been there and done that
I´ll like to try the inverse. To get Vibe's tracking with V50 weight

I love the way my V3D flies but I´m looking for a similar tracking heli with 200-300gr less. The N5 is really appealing it seems to track really good, a bit less weight and built like a tank, another thing I like of my Vibe

But V50 parts price and availability is really appealing.

I hate how bad T600 tracks and it must be my V3D love but I feel it tracks better than my T700

the Velocity already offers that
As I stated before I own both and the only extra tracking the Vibe offers I feel is related to the extra weight.

I will second CoronaL's statement that the Velocity easily tracks as good as the vibe. The only difference in tracking between the 2 is purely related to weight. Meaning the Vibe holds more speed on windy days. I prefer the lighter flying heli as I am sure most do. It just makes everything easier.

IMHO the Vibe 50, Fury 55 (I have flown one) and Velocity are the top 3 50's to have right now. (I dont feel the 600N is in the same class as these helis, no comparison as far as performance, all 3 blow the 600 away)

For the money you get the most from a Velocity. Cheap parts cost and 2nd to none performance.

Question. Why is everybody using 620mm on the V50 ?

I ask because I find a bit lack of pop on Tareq's video and he was flying Edge 603mm.

I'm wondering between a V50 or wait for the N5. I really like N5 simple practical design.

B'cause you can ! Seriously though with the new engines you can take advantage of a larger more stable disk. With the 630 SWE blades the Velo is very stable and the cyclics are freaking insane. I thought the larger blades would load the motor and bog the head I WAS WRONG.

+1 with what Evo said.

I was worried my Mavrikk G5Pro wide cord 620's would load my motor(OS55 and Align 50 pipe) up too much. Didn't phase it a bit. More pop and cyclics were still great. I myself prefer a wide cord and stiff blade over the SWE's, but that's a personal choice, much like my bad wardrobe, hairstyle etc... lol. Seriously, blades are personal taste on what you like though.

But the Vel50 can run bigger blades easily and with the new motors there is really no reason not to. Re: Tariq's lack of pop. I didn't gather that from his vids, but maybe comparing to his 90 machine videos the 50 is going to pop a bit less. The Vel50 with 600mm blades is nice and can pop as well as any other 50, if not better due to it's light weight, but with the bigger blades the machine really shines, as will any other 50 if the motor can carry the power. The Vel50 though I think flies "big" for it's size, and I don't miss flying my 90's as the Velocity flies so well IMO.

Does anyone know if any of the Vel50 parts are compatible with the Vibe50? I love my Vibe, the extra weight doesn't bother me because since its always so god dam windy here, but the cost of parts is a little painful. Are there any parts from the Vel50 such as the tail boom or torque that would fit the Vibe?will wash your heli for a quarter

Are you being sarcastic? Looks like plenty of pop to me!

I also fly Edge 603s and I am very pleased with the perfomance.

not really I meant compared with others Tareq videos. I usually fly Radix SB and RT610 and they have plenty of pop. And Torsion 600 had the biggest pop I've flied.

CoronaL or Aaron you have both V50 and V3D, is V50 fan bigger ?

That's my only complaint on V3D... smaller fan. I finally got a QuickUK fan and it cools a bit better.

Thanks

Yes we fly in the Florida heat and the stock plastic fans works perfectly, I also see that my friend Luca at Lynx had a CnC replacement for those that are looking to go that route, not sure it either the stock plastic or CnC will fit on a Vibe 50 thoughClyde Fox

IMO the 600N metal fan moves air the best. I had the 3dx fan on there for awhile, and it was awesome. But, it worked so well I was running it a bit lean and didn't know it.

Having said that, There are no air flow issues on my Vibe 50 with the stock fan. In Texas we get in the 100's in the summer.

The fan is should not be a purchase issue, unless you got one of the first run 600N's. Those fans were know to bend(to thin).

I want to give EVO4EVERa thumbs up on stating he is Rep. I agree with his statement that the Vibe 50 flys a bit heavy when compared to a 600N.(never flown a velocity 50 for comparison) But, I think that with a 55 and 620 blades weight wouldn't be an issue.

I like doing really big big loops and FFF with a little 3D tossed in.

Thx dude, I agree with what you are saying, see we can be civil. If you get a chance it would be great if youy could try out a Velociy I think you would be suprised at how well it tracks as light as it is. If you are at an event with me I would be glad to give you a go on my machine !
