Throttle/Governor Problem...
Not sure if I have a problem or not? but have just rebuilt the 600N after a crash and notice a strange throttle issue that I didn't notice before.
I have an Align governor installed, and with the heli on the bench (not running) everything works, but the throttle servo is going to idle all by itself after approx 30 seconds. eg, in any mode I can wiggle the sticks & it all moves as it should, but after about 30sec the throtttle servo goes to idle & stays there until I lower the throttle to 0. Then it works again for another 30sec or so.
I've turned the failsafe off incase it was that. All wires look ok.
Could it be that if the governor does not sense rotation of the engine it sets the throttle to idle by default after a set time???
Can't find anything in the manual..
Will fire it up tomorrow & do some hover tests, but just wondered if anyone has seen this??

What you're describing sounds exactly like the battery fail-safe function... which is different than a signal loss fail-safe function. The throttle is dropped to idle as an indication that the battery is almost out, but gives you back control over throttle if you bring the stick all the way to the bottom. This cycle just repeats until you've brought the aircraft down safely.

Thanks Helo Cotrols, I had all green lights on the 2n1 so discounted that. However I did test fly and it operated fine. No throttle issues in any mode. So I have put it down to the governor? droping the throttle to Zero if it can't sense engine rotation.
As it turned out after 3 flights the 2n1 lipo was showing red light only which was unusual. I have checked the pack and found a damaged cell from the crash under the covering. Time for a new pack.
