Noob: Trex 250 mains / rotor freewheeling normal?
Thx for reading this noob question. My new Trex 250 mains / rotor freewheels ... i.e., when rotating the main blades in the normal direction and not under power, the tail does not spin. Is this normal? That's not the way it works with my 450SE. I have not yet powered up the craft (more work to do on it). Thanks again!

That's normal. The T250 doesn't have the same gears as the 450 and larger helis.(driven tail gear) If you spin the rotor blades to the opposite direction(counter clock wise) it should spin the tail blades along with the motor pinnion.

The 250 doesn't have a driven tail for autos.. That's the way all of the old helicopters were..
