If blades make that much difference, I may take few extra sets with me next time and see how they respond. I am using the 690s that came with it but I think I have two sets of V blades, one textured and one set of slicks I also have at least one set of SABs I could throw on it.

Or, try some of the new Edge Blades specifically weighted for FBL. They'll have the yellow writting on 'em. Just my 2 cents. I don't know for sure, as I've never flown a FBL heli. But, I hear the Edge FBL blades are in fact good. I've got the Edge (FlyBar) Blades on my T-REX 500 and 600 respectively and I do like 'em!
