450 huey
Has anyone bought one of these. Im curious about what the kit actually comes with. The page says it comes with everything needed for the raised tail, but its not in the pics. Also how easy is the install into a t-rexSA, basically the same as the SE. Any help is appreciated guys.

It comes with all the hardware to setup the raised tail. Longer belt and an adapter to make the 45 deg bend. The only thing I got extra was the cable to control the tail. I opted to use great planes flex push rod cable part no GPMQ3700. The provided rod was a little to stiff and I though it would bind. If you search the fourm there should be a couple of threads on this fuse.

Thanks that awnsered every question i had except one. Would it be possible to modify the landing gear struts to look more scale like? Mainly farther apart and forward.

Forward should be easy, farther apart could be tricky. The tubing might not hold up to the bending or could be weakened. You had me at Hover

Hmmmm, interesting. In the discription it's listed as a D model. I know the 450 Huey as been floating around a little while but you think they would have better pictures. I'm interested in their Hind 24 but not 'til I see pictures or even a build of it.

I thought the same thing about the rescue version. Its listed as a d model but the pics show an "n". I would love to have a twin huey but no one makes one besides vario, and i can't afford that yet

Most of the mini T fuses I've seen (cobra and A109) are designed specificly for the mini T. I dont think they would work with the Trex and if you could get it to work booth the Trex and the Fuse would need to be extensivly modified .You had me at Hover

The skids can be moved around, tail moved to the correct side (RC Aerodyne version only), windshield made more scale, etc. A thread that shows some mods to this fuselage...
