Sorry to hear that you'll have to wait a little-longer rocco.sj, with this news I'm thinking my reserve-date may get pushed from end-of July to sometime late-Aug.(?) No-worries though
Btw tdrs gyro plate does not appear to be quite large enough for mini?....so are people modding it to fit the mini?
I was considering using a piece of CF-plate to mount the Mainboard (satellites-only model) to the back-of the Delrin-block that the Elevator-servo's push-rod passes-through (instead of mounting it on it's side and on-top of the Tail-rotor servo as I've seen other's do).
I'm thinking that a slightly-larger piece of CF-plate mounted in the same-location as the sensor-plate is now, would work perfectly

@HilliHeli
Why don't you use a "normal" font i.e. no bold, no italic... we DO see what you're writting... no need to emphasize it just like you were yelling at us

Jan emailed me to say the "first batch" of "March" (now April) people had just been notified how to proceed - and the "second batch", which I am in, would get notified soon.

Man he really needs to start a blog. All he'd have to do is type up a post every week or so, and his enquiry stream of individual questions would slow to a trickle!

I agree, 10 minutes on the webpage would likely save hours of writing emails.

I am also in the 2nd batch, can't wait to see pics of the 2010 version (there is a few differences).

New head block so you can fly at 1600RPM with no rocking.
Rotor shaft now hardened.
Ball joints on swash no longer balls, they bolt on.
Collets for drive shaft bearings for TT to ease assembly, shorter tail shaft, coupling on front and rear easier, steel gears 1 on each end.
Tail servo mount easier.

Thats about it, really just to make things easier.

Nice! Well finally got my note of some luck, mine to ship within a week, pretty pumped so it was 14 months for me, long long wait but hoping it was worth it, I think it should be!

I also noticed Jan includes the mini vbar so looks like mikado allows it.

Mr Mel said that it depends on his L600 stretch the mini vbar did not work well but on the TDR it does, must be due to being so smooth running.

Hopefully everyone out there gets a lot of joy from their TDR!

I asked to join the list on the 8th of June, so I'm only at the 10th month, and was told it is imminent. So I'll probably get it within 12 months door to door.

by the way anyone have any tips on shipping? what options do they offer?
if any.

I'm thinking of getting it sent to USA then forwarded: simply because of my last experience with DHL Europe which charged 70 euros for a box the size of my hand, and took 3 weeks.

Its 40 euro to australia, no shipping option unless you organise your own.

Don't worry, there are a number of people in au that got it hassle free.

Very envious of your friend Stet. Waiting on my apparently late June/early July delivery. Not sure what will go in it yet motorwise, but i've got the 451s and a 251 here ready and waiting. Very anxious for this heli.
