Yes, you have to lightly sand the back of the plastic guide to get the pins through.

REXXI is right on the money +1 just dont take too much off. sand a little fit sand fit ect.. The pin is somewhat tough to get in which is good for a nice fit. But dont push to hard or you will snap them. Let us know if you need help. Im running same head and have been since day one. Factory head is great and works perfect. Make sure you are running the FAI swash though

forgot to add dont sand so much there flopping around they should stick straight out and be pretty stable with little movment

Ely Q 50 Comp FBL Head
Guys,
I used the Compass FBL head. Much simpler but with delrin rods.
Same concept but beefier.

That looks like a nice head!
I really like the ElyQ one though because it's much cheaper and lighter.

yes new head will be sweet and dont forget you will need the new main shaft its 3/4 inch longer

YES!! guys with the original FBL conversion be VERY carefull you cannot get the Linkage rods at the moment. Not sure if elyq put production on hold pushing the new stuff or if there just gonna discontinue the whole conversion. I will get more info

They might be the same length but the faiser disign is totaly different and your swash would just flop around if you used them. ''Absolutely unflyable''
