Glad to hear it. I can well understand how much of a drag it must be to have such a favorite heli unservicable!

I feel the same about my gasser.

longer boom on pre nx predator
Do you have to change to a longer torque shaft if going with the 855mm boom and what O-rings do you get for the bearing housings?

Thank's inadvance
Jeff

Also found the gears for the S9250 servo's It's a metal gear setup with two plastic gears inside. 2.00 per gears. So won't need any fired servo's.

Emile that's great get a lathe. Soon as I get through this back problem thing I like to get A mill/lathe combo and make some parts for helis. Thank's for the help also.

Some people are saying that I'm a low life since you've been gone. Because I'm out of work and I ask for free stuff.

Know how you feel
If it makes you feel any better (probably won't but they say misery loves company) I just had a boom strike (the ship was on the ground !!!) with my Futura. A nasty blade strike hit the boom and crushed it right to the drive shaft. Now I gotta try to get parts !!! At least you have the "luxury" (sorry about that but I hope it makes you feel better) to get new parts. I am hoping someone out there has parts they want to part with.

Keep on practicing and don't give up. I have been flying for over 35 years and I was just flying my Futura without any 3D flight. I keep it as a "relic" and fly it only occasionally. It was a fluke "crash" The ship was on the ground and I was checking the rotor speed with my optical tach when I turned to put the tach back in the flight box the I didn't lower the blades to negative pitch. I turned away to put the tach away and when I turned back the ship was just starting to lift off on it's own (I have a single stick trans for this ship and may have hit the collective accidently. The ship was only about a half inch off the ground but that's all it took. It rolled to one side before I could get my hand on the stick. One blade hit the ground and the other spun around and hit the tail boom totally crushing it. Oh well, no to find a tail boom and drive shaft. !!!

man, this is hard to believe. *still* having trouble keeping basic crash parts in stock?! This has been going on for 5+ years now.

If Align ever does release the 700G they'll clean up the gasser market.

This might just be considered as guys talking, but a Mill/ lathe combo isnt the hot ticket as you sacrifice way too much performance when you combine 2 separate machines. For the casual hobbyist get a taig micro mill and lathe. or even the chinese stuff.

Sorry I know a lil about such things, and had to get that out.

Dont feel bad my Raven has been broken waiting for me to get off my busy spell to fix it.
