After the crash I posted the other dat, I went home and ordered parts and fixed the 700. I was testing in the front yard and it spit both tail blades and rolled over and tore up the blades and some links,So I order A new set of stick bangers and get it set up nice and was doing great. Then A friend came up to fly with us so I tell him to try the heli out to see if he likes it. About 2 minutes into the flight it looses the tail and starts piroetting and in throttle hold he can not get it straight. So it slams down in the mud and I think this sucks. After some looking over it had lost A tail boom brace and the boom broke half way and bound the rudder hard right. Thanks to my brother I have it fixed already but only killed the new blades and boom, canopy, and A small bend in the TT. Here are pics after I got home.

OHHHH crap!! That was fun

Bummer.....
I'm sure your friend doesn't feel great about it either.... totally not his fault.

Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

I had a bad Sunday. My 600e was acting up with a tail twitch that I could not get ride of. And my Raptor had two flameouts, one of which was when the heli was inverted about 40 feet up. I autoed it down saftly both times.

Same here with a bad week. I learned you should land when the wind starts to gust. Hard lesson to learn, but as the saying at my club goes.....just 1 more flight and I'm going home.....famous last words

We have a similar thing in the sport of kiteboarding.

Ive been kiteboarding for 10 years. When you see a storm front coming...

Do you:

A: Say, "Oh well, I'll get 20mins more riding in.

B: Say, Hmm I'll just ride into it!

C: Say, Oh hell, And get out of the water ahead of time.

The answer is obviously C. But you know what I can say that more than 70 percent of guys will stay in the water and ride. Im usually the first one on the beach. Better safe than sorry!

20 mins later, guys are getting hurled all over the place. When they do make it in the are breaking down their gear in rain and 50mph winds...

Common sense goes a long way! haha.
