Been a nitro guy but going to give it a spin.
After scouring these pages I am going to buy;
Logo 500, Jive 100+LV, Scorpion 4020-1100, 550sab blades(or rotortech 550's?), 6s 4500 mah pack, 9452 servos.
Do I need the program card with the Jive?
Use the Jive bec or run a seperate?
Do I have to ask for a 15T or is that what comes with the kit?
Running Windows 7, 64 bit now. Does Vbar drivers/software support it?

Thx for any advice.

Yes you do need the program card for the Jive, I would use the integrated BEC and their are no pinions that come with the kit, therefore you have to order one.

Team Synergy, Rail blades, Team Scorpion, V-Team

I would use a 15T pinion (Maybe 16? Wait for other people to chime in). You don't get a pinion with the kit.

You can use the built in BEC (great quality), you will need two BEC leads though, you only get one in the Jive box. You can make your own or buy a Kontronik one (recommended).

You do not need a programming card but it doesn't hurt to have one at all. It will allow you to change the BEC voltage from the 5.8v stock setting. Everything else is automatic and can be set-up from the transmitter.

I would go with 6S 5000mAh packs but that's just me...

V-Bar and Windows 7 64 bit is fine, you need to run in "Test mode" but it's easy to do after a quick Google search.

600 or 700
Am planning on purchasing a Trex 600 electric setup but am also interested in the 700! Is there that much difference?
