I don't have any experience with the Align gyro, but love my spartan DS760. Works great on my two 700s.

Just like Gernejr said, nowadays most gyros out there do a great job as long as they are setup correctly. Personally, I would stay away from Align and JR Gyros for now. I had some experience with them and they can be a bit fickle. If you want a set it and forget it type gyro, the GY520, DS 760 or Quark gyros work very well. Same goes for the engines. The Align HZ is a great engine. All it is in an OS engine that's been re branded. Currently, I run an OS .91SZ pumped on my 700. Honestly, I think you should just keep it simple and get the non pumped version. At least until OS gets the regulator and pump situation squared away. That pump system makes an engine very hard to dial in. Good luck on your choices and happy flying
