Pulled it out of a featherlite weedeater..It would be great for a plank..Heres a few vids of the engine that other people have mounted on planeshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldn2pKbtvZchttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afYH6Xq76RMhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIh_zi3Qxh4
The engine is practically brand new, no more than 30 mins run time. the muffler had some VERY slight rusting, 10 seconds with a piece of light sandpaper and its all good..Engine internals sleeve, bearrings and everything inbetween look brand new with the exception of the piston..It has a very light brown tint to it, which as we know with our engines, its not a problem nor will it be. I believe since it came out of a weedeater the ignition is already built onto the engine so all you need is to crank it over, No igniter needed.
It would make a fun project and give you a cheap powerplant for a big bird.
Now of course, Theres the cons.
It was running great a few months ago, But now without putting fuel into the carb I couldnt get it to start. I believe the issue is just gunk in the carb from the fuel..So if your comfortable taking the carb apart it should be good..either way, a replacment carb isnt all that much if you just want to go new. or you can prabably use a carb off alot of other weedeaters if you have them laying around (alot of guys do).
Pictures will be up later, possibly tomorrow. Make an offer or would trade for a decent gyro, or any FBL system.
will be sold/traded as is.
I did my best with the description and pics will be up, and they speak for themselves.
