Maidened my 3G unit on my Trex 500 ESP. Seem to have a bit of a nod in the hover, which you could also see in fast forward flight. Definitely not down to lack of head speed.

I have my sensor mounted on the bottom plate just over the rear leg, just using 1 align foam pad at the moment.

Really impressed by how the model flew, just need to get rid of the nodding. Any advice on gain settings would be useful, or if you have use flybarless specific blades which have helped etc. I think my elevator gain was around the 10 o'clock position after 4 flights, but I had to call it a day as I ran out of time.

Cheers,

Simon

I am running my sensor up on top on the tail transmission. I am using 1 Align pad.
I am just below 40%, so between 9 and 10 O'clock. I had slight bobble when I went above 10 O'clock

I have mine on the bottom plate as well. I have both gains between 9 and 10. No noticable bobble. I am using the Align DS510 servos on the cyclic. Mine flies great as well. Chuck

I was getting some circular wobble in hover so I dropped both gains to about 9:30

Looks like I will be dropping the gains down a bit then, hopefully my bobble will disappear.

Thanks for the responses.

Cheers

g_dmitry.
Maybe you need to review , "How to set up heli's 101" Instead of bashing some person all over the web because you have a problem with him and feel like the rest of the world cares! You should spend more time on the sim where time is needed,
You really seem to have a lot of issues with the fact that fellow flyer's seem to be able to toss their 3g's around pretty darn good. Seems to me that Mikado as well as other make's have had their fair share of issues. So, give companies a chance! Remember that in reality, if it were not for Align, and Thunder Tiger, this hobby would be no where near as advanced as where it is today! They changed the market!
