The Pro and Sport have very different frames and construction. Does this answer your question or do you want to know more?

the sport is basically a v2 still metal stuff and has a belt... the pro has a redesigned head and torque tube, pro has a one piece frame like the 500

How do you figure a pro has a one pc frame....

Still has a zillion pc's and goes together with crappy screws....

I have one....

BTW the 500 is not one pc either...

I think Michael is talking about side frame.

I would go for the pro. Maybe if this is your very first heli go with the sport for the belt drive tail.

The belt drive tail is good because if you hit the tail you normally can get away with it.

The torque tube runs more freely and will be more of a benefit when you start flying around more. Much less drag.

I also think the pro frame design is better.

I have flown both, and own the 450Pro!
Not this is not what this topic is about but, IMHO the 450 Sport would be better for a beginner, and the 450Pro for a experienced pilot....
I worked on a friends 450 Sport, set it up mechanically, and his radio, then flew it. It looks a lot like my 450seV2 that has the torquetube upgrade, and I've heard that with the newer 450 head my old 450 would fly just like the 450 sport. The frames and layout is also extremely similar on the sport, and seV2. Now the 450Pro is a power house that I would not recommend for a first heli unless you have experience people around you
