I know this was addressed before but I can't find it. Is the stuff any good? 75.00 a case you can't go wrong.

Found the previous post. Sounds like it's some good stuff. Think I'll give it a try. Like I said 74.99 + shipping and HAZMAT.

A-Main Hobbies has it for 79.99 for 4 gallons but the shipping and HAZMAT bring the total up to 134.00, 34.00 something a gallon. Not so sure it's such a good deal when i can drive to Syracuse and get Byron's Rotor Rage for about the same and no HAZMAT.

Looks like a good alternative. does the cost include all fees? Also, looking from the picture, the gallon bottle looks like it has a wider mouth vs std bottles(Byron, CY, Cool Power). i'm wondering if my current fuel pump will fit it.

Its good but smokes really bad , its nice for awhile but when you have afew heli's running on it , its gets too much.

Think its 22% oil not the normal 20

I've been flying Rotor Rage and I like it and before that I was using Cool Power 30%. If I change to Outgrage, will I have to do anything different?

I am gonna go out on a limb here, so don't flame me for my opinion. I have run most of the fuels out there and they are all pretty good, I currently run Wildcat which I get for much less than the prices listed here for this fuel. My point is why in the world would I want to run some fuel made in South Korea either Rapicon or Outrage when I can buy one made here. In an economy like were in I am going to support the guys making fuel here, and I am sure Wildcat, Byron, and Morgan would appreciate that as well. But I guess if they go out of business we can all wait for the next boat from South Korea to get here next time we need fuel. Just sayin.

I guess that is up to the individual. But you are mistaken where it is made, I got this off the web site:

WHAT IS RAPICON FUEL?

Rapicon Fuel is high-quality nitromethane fuel manufactured in South Korea. Rapicon is optimized for high-performance applications, but is also great for more basic applications as well. Rapicon is well-established in Asia and Europe, and has been used at many premier RC events by world-class competitors. Common Sense RC has brought Rapicon to the US so now everyone has the opportunity to the fuel chosen by champions worldwide.

As for me wanting to buy whats made here, it is a supply thing for me. I am not a protectionist, I can order a helicopter from Japan and it would be here UPS in a couple of days, try that with a case of fuel.

Where did you read that ?

If you go to http://www.rapiconfuels.co.uk/index.html , they seem to make out they make the stuff and its only available though them.

When I used to buy it , thats what I thought

Like so many companies who are "manufacturers" what they actually do is assemble the components made by somebody else. Rapicon probably do the same in the UK.

I dont care where its made, i would buy rotorage if i could get it for 100 a case shipped. fact is i like rapicon, not even don with my first gallon and i would put leaps and bounds above coolpower and simular to rotorage for power and ease of tuning. plus no staining like CP

mine isnt any more smokey compare to RR but the color is a little darker.

lightningrc,

Glad you found that I didn't want you to think I was misleading you that it was made there, very misleading. I doubt that they ship all the components there to stick it in a bottle in the UK, what sense would that make, plus what would that change it still would be made in Korea. Just seems they could be honest about it, at least the guys importing it here don't try to pull that one.
