I am using a 14Mz as the Teacher and a T4YBF trainer box (part# FUTM4376) for the Student radio while connecting them with the MMTC trainer cord.

The 14Mz has a 2.4GHz module installed.

In the 14Mz Trainer menu are the following settings:

Teacher/Student = Teacher
12CH/8CH = 8CH
Master Switch = SwF (I currently use the spring switch for Throttle Cut)

*All channels are set to Function
I even changed the Limit of ALL channels to 100% in the End Point (ATV menu)

What I am noticing is that when switching between the two radios there is less collective travel when the student has control. This can be seen while toggle switch is released while the collective is at the extremes. Is this normal for Helicopter buddy boxing.

It appears that everything else works BUT the small collective difference. I have not yet had the chance to test this out at the field yet.

Any suggestions or clarification on this setup would be great.

Thank you

Kevin

No thats not right, the both should have the same amount of throw.I have setup a 12Z and a 12FG and both worked just the same. I did have a problem one time with heading hold on one heli and i ended up having to give one click of rudder on the buddy box and that fixed it. I'm not sure on your settings but keep messing with it and you will get it.

Thanks
