May be someone out there in need of an old HB61 so here is one...it seems to be from some graupner helicopter...it has a rear mounted fan and a huge flywheel and clutch. even has a muffler. Only thing I can see missing is the cone collar for the flywheel...Any idea what it might be worth?

Thanks!

you know I have an 1983 HB PDP 61(never started),,,, look under the Mounting Tad on your Engine for a Manufacturing Date,,
HB made the 61 in three different power ratings, the Standard 61, the PDP and the Blitz (the Blitz being most powerful),,
I know 1 of the Mounting Tabs on the PDP is Plated on it's side and says PDP (see photo in the top link below), I do not know how to tell the Standard and Blitz apart,, I do know that the Fan on your Engine IS an HB part, your Fan is in my 1983 HB Manual (your Clutch is NOT in my Manual so I don't know anything about it),, also the older HB (s) were made in Germany while the new ones are made in the US,,

to add,, I am wondering if your Engine is older than mine, because my 1983 Manual shows two 61 Fan Engines with large Heat Sink Heads (1 Head is like the OS 37 Head and the other is a Large Round Head), and both these Fan Engines in my 1983 Manual are PDP Engines,,
and as I have been told the Standard and PDP are NO power Monsters, I have been told the PDP is about as powerful as an OS FX61, but they are better made than an OS !

pricing,,
well you will see the Standard Plane Engine less Muffler sells new today for $170 while the PDP Plane less Muffler is $190,, so they are NO cheap Engine and they never were cheap, even the Standard is a very very fine made Engine, so they should hold there Price more than an OS would,
