Ok, so after practicing with Real Flight G3.5, I decided to buy an Esky Belt cp V2. It arrived yesterday in the mail and I'm getting my first hovers on it. Hopefully with lots of practice I'll eventually master flying.

Take it very easy, do try to fly it, just try to hover it tail in. Its a lot different than the SIM.

well I 'd have to say if thats your 3rd day thats really good, and a pretty convincing argument for getting a sim in the beginning

That is very good control. You're smart to master the hover before you on to forward flight.

You've chosen a good first heli. It's the right size and it has a good stable tail.

Keep us posted on your progress.

Don't forget to time your flights to not overdischarge your batteries.

Lipos batteries can be ruined quickly from that.

Aghh that sucks, My Honey bee king three has the same issue, and a burnt up servo. It's nice to have repair parts on hand. Waiting on the mailman sucks.

Do you have 5mm sockets to remove them?

Yeah, usually looses main gear on a crash. Do you have a vise?

You may get a way with Blade400 Main gears which you can get for cheaper without one way

You will need a vise and trex 450 oneway removal tool. I also read that you can use Trex 450 gear on there as well, at least on v1 you can, but you will need the bearing hub.

Mr. W

Great that you were able to repair your feathering shaft.

Sorry, but I have to ask...

Did you loctite it?

Also, this place ships from California I think.

They MIGHT be a good parts supplier option for you.
