I've browsed all over and can't find the answer to this; I must be missing something obvious so I feel like an idiot,,but I have to ask!

I have the 3G FBL for my T-Rex 500,,,,the servos connect to the 3G control unit but it doesn't indicate the polarity,,,the servos can plug in both ways. The unit isn't labled and the manual doesn't address it.
Can someone tell me which way these plug in?

Thank you!

always go the same direction as the wires that are hard wired into the unit.

so if the light wire is up that's how you put in your wires.

The 3G has servo slots set up to accept Futaba tabbed servo leads.
The tab is always on the signal side.
So looking at the unit with servo jacks toward you, and control face up, the ground goes to bottom (Black or brown wire depending on servo) and signal lead goes up to the top near the slot for the Futaba tab

Thats what really thru me. The unit has two harnesses hard wired right next to the jack. The cyclic harness has the ground wire on the top,,,the rudder/gain harness has the ground wire on the bottom.

jsenicka,,,thanks,,,that makes sense. But I'm using Align servos with JR connectors,,you would think Align would clarify this,,I refuse to believe that I'm the only one questioning this.

But I got it installed and programmed,,everything works as advertised,,,I have to wait for decent weather now to test fly.

Thx guys!!
