Should I get one for my venture 30 or just upgrade to a 50 sized heli? I tried a a roll with my os 32 and it just didnt seem to have enough power. I'll take any opinions.

you really ought to be able to roll a machine w/ OS37. I'd say it's more a setup or pilot problem.

I wouldn't steer you away from a 50 as the Venture is pretty old.

take a closer look at your throttle curves for stunt mode and probably power-robbing rusty engine bearing.

A rusty bearing wouldnt suprise me much since its a pretty old and beat up engine. I doubt i broke it in right but it runs pretty good still. Parts are getting a little scarese for the venture. I've looked at a vibe 50 since i really want to start getting into 3d a lot more. I figure the vibe will be around for a long time and it will easily take me as far as i want to go with it.

I've never had love for JR machines.

I might suggest the Hirobo SDX or Outrage Velocity50

The question was "should I put an OS37 in my Venture 30"?

He has an OS32 and it flies like a dog. That's the Venture 30. The heaviest 30-sized nitro heli in the world, and tail heavy to boot.

A 37 will help, but only if you spend the extra $$$ and put a decent large volume muffler on it.

I owned a Venture for about six months. I couldn't get rid of it fast enough to suit me.

Putting a 37 in the Venture would be like putting lipstick on a pig.

That Venture is long in the tooth, and not that great a heli. I don't know what your budget is, but maybe it's time to look to a newer heli that you can get parts for, and one that is aerobatic to boot.

The Vibe is nice, but as with JR helis, expensive to buy, expensive to own.

Hirobos aren't cheap, but they ARE good, rugged, and dependable, day in, day out.

I "borrowed" a venture for a time a few years back. With the 32 it would do basic stunts, sluggishly, but it needed high headspeed.
