I've been reading a lot of posts about engine tuning and all that. i also watched berts' vdo from smacktalk but am still not clear how to "properly" tune the mid range. I know its the last needle to tweak, and we tweak the high end base on temp, and power. But I'm not sure where the middle needle comes to place. I guess my question is when doing tictoc, i think its mainly the main needle, so is the climb outs .. right? So if I have my engine temp at 200-210F, and feel that I still don't have power, does the mid range have any role into this? Or is it just on hovering? Also, how can you tell if your mid is lean or rich? since it can always be masked by the main needle.

from what i understand as your hovering decent at a rapid pace and listen how the engine hangs, if it hangs as its a little lean.

i guess your supposed be just shy of it hanging as a sweet spot.
