whyfly are you running the sb19 on a os motor the sb 19 is designed for the ys 91 sr. not the os 91 hz.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN ITS NOT SET UP FOR THAT, OH THATS WHAT YOU MEAN

WhyFly I have the setup as yours YR91 SB19 . My mid was 1.5 or 1 3/4 my high 1.25 or 1.5 or 1 3/4 these setup my engine still ran lean I have 3 YS SR it ran the same I had a friend whos help to setup but have no luck. The only way to make not lean we kept rich them om mid size 2 to 2 1/2 turn high size 1 3/4 to 2 turn I know it to rich but I also cant lean. If I tried to set as per instruction it will lean. I have burned 3 piston so far . I talk to YS he said something arounnd my engines I asked him what you mean by something saround my engine he didnt respond Im sure my engine were clean no dirt my flying field was saround by green grass. I been spent over $1500 with the parts last year alone. I never gave up with YS I been with YS almost 5 years. Friend of mind convince me to get OS but I never did. hopefully you can help solve these problem. from getting burning too much piston.

I copied this from post here on RR but didnt copy poster name (sorry) Well here it is

..Here's HIS approach to tuning the YS-91.. (Your mileage may vary)

Starting conditions
• Factory needle settings
• Governor turned off
• Throttle curve of 0-30-30-30-100
Procedure
1. Get it started and establish reliable idle
2. Pinch fuel line, adjust idle needle so motor revs up at completion of a "10 count"
. If motor shuts off early go richer
. If motor keeps running past 10 count, go leaner
3. Walk heli to flight line and spool up into a hover, then three 100% collective "blips" to fully pressurize fuel tank.
4. Bank into stable eye level hover, most likely the tail is shaking because it is really rich.
5. Lean the big needle (mid range) until the tail shake stops.
6. While spooled up, hit throttle hold, does it go right to a good idle?
. If no, then adjust idle mixture (mid range can effect idle circuit)
. If yes, then
1. Start leaning the big needle some more, counting clicks
2. Put it into a hover, hit throttle hold, keep leaning big needle until a momentary "High Idle" speed is observed. (Hanging on the pipe)
3. Richen the big needle Half the number of clicks between tail shake stop and hanging on the pipe
4. Mid range tuned, don't mess with the big needle any more
7. Spool heli back up, Blip to 100% collective to re-establish tank pressure
8. Hold a hover for a few moments, then punch and hold 100% collective for 1 - 2 seconds, then back to hover pitch and let it "float" down.
1.Lean the short needle (high speed) until motor "hangs on the pipe" during the float down and the smoke trail visibly becomes less dense during the climb out.
2.Once you find the "Too Lean" point, go 4 clicks richer
9. Turn governor back on and go beat on the heli.
10. Listen carefully for the "Hanging on the pipe, YING-YING" sound. Watch the smoke trails. If it hangs on the pipe or the smoke trail reduces, richen the short needle a few clicks.
** If at any time you kill a glow plug, your motor is detonating and you MUST go richer on the short needle or find out why the motor is going lean (fuel supply problem)
