Some people flip the tail grips to trailing edge control for better geometry. This makes it easier to set up in Rate mode. I am lazy so instead of flipping them around, I just moved the tail hub out a bit farther on the tail shaft. This gave me a little extra pitch in the tail blades so I was able to set it up in rate mode.

just curios, do you fly in rate mode? Just set it up in HH like the instructions state and it'll be great. No need for brainless's, I mean finless's instructions. The 750 is a great gyro and you don't need the grip flip for perfect operation. Get out of the 401 mindset and set the 750 up like the instructions state. IMO.

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

flipping the grip will make the tail more linear though so i still would flip the grip even if i was going to fly and setup the tail in HH. But thats just what i think.

^^ ^^ I agree with kingair, no need for the Finless mod on the tail, I didn't mess with it, I fly in HH hard most of my flight and set the GP750 per manual and have had no problems.
Who flies in rate mode anymore?

well i just thought it would be best to set it up in "rate" mode i was thinking by doin this the servo wouldnt have to work as hard to hold, but i have it holding good in hh so i will just leave it as is.

hey! were is the reset button!
