Day started off good until the fan came loose and jamed on the clutch bell.Took it home and loctited the crap out of the fan and nut.Went back out and half way through the flight I started doing 4 way tictocs, lost all headspeed .Thought my oneway let loose but noticed part of my clutch liner hanging out of the clutch bell when I looked everything over.I guess when the fan came loose the first flight it screwed the liner up and this is what happend because I didn't look everything over like I should of.Lesson learned and i'll have it fixed tonight .

ADHD,
Thanks but I have extra blades.

jay hall,
That sucks bro ,the head is all I was worried about. As soon as it lost head speed I hit throttle hold and all I could do was watch it fall.I can auto perfect but nothing I could do with this,50ft in the air doing my last 4 point tictoc and it dropped like a brick. To be honest I never though the liner could come loose because the fan came loose.Im going to relax for a bit, have it fixed tonight and go back out tomorrow .

fast400,
If I changed the struts like I was planning on a week ago,the frame legs would be fine but these metal ones took them out.You can see the bottom of the frames stuck on the metal struts in the first pic. There too strong and my stock ones are going on tonight .Yea,thats the busted look LOL..Kinda funny because the wife was laughing on the phone when I told her what happed, she said I fly too much without crashing LOL.I think this was my 6th crash in 1 year now so im not crying over this haha.I have enough parts to fix it tonight or finish it tomorrow ,kinda beat right now ..

If you didn't have to tote it home in a garbage bag then its not that bad, hell with all the parts you have you'll be up in no time

If you only have to bend over once to pick it up it's a good landing.

I just finished going through everything and I have about 3-4 extras of everything lol but the front fan cases, going to the hobby shop for them tomorrow.I have a extra 60 boom and TT along with 2 90 booms and 2 90 TT's,for some reason the 90 boom and TT won't fit .I'll make a thread in the TT section but im guessing I need the 90 TT gears .Damage was spindle, main shaft, flybar,TT,boom,Boom braces,1 head rod link, fan case, main blades and the rear frame set.

sorry to hear about your crash. Get it fixed and play again That's what I love about the hobby, you can always fix it and fly again. Think about it, you'll have a brand new bird when your done fixing.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!
