okay i have had 1 crash because i flew my 450 sport and the belt was loose and it started skipping and my tail would fly left, then right i tried to land but it flew a 180 right before landing...anyway i got it fixed up, belt is tight and i just hovered for 5 minutes straight, about 3.5 minutes into it my tail flew left about 80 degrees, i landed it, checked the belt it was fine..didnt see any teeth missing either so i hovered it till the battery was low...any reason for this? i think on the safe side im just goin to change out my belt..has this happened to anyone else? i mean everything looks fine

The block that holds the tail on the Sport frame was made to big, it does not allow a tight enough clamp on the tail boom. Take the tail boom off and wrap the end with a little tape and stick it back in the boom mount in the frame. It should stop the tail from coming loose.

So long and thanks for all the fish!

Just another idea.. if you're not using gyro tape (the thick foam stuff) on your gyro that could account for random kickouts like you're describing.

If it can't hover, it ain't worth flying.

what about putting the tail servo up against the tail boom block/frame to keep in place...would that be stretching the the tail servo wire too far?anyone else do this?
