I received this message in regards to a For sale item, and require the assistance of a translator. I'm not sure in what language it was written, but pretty sure it isn't English.

"im not trin 2 low ball u or anything but what the best u can do i dont have what ur asking but would to take it off ur hands "

Ah, that would be frugalese. I'm a little rusty but let's see what I can do.

Hello Sir, I would be very much interested in purchasing your item you have listed for sale, however I regret to inform you I do not currently have the amount you are requesting. I would appreciate it if you would be willing to accommodate my limited funds by allowing me to purchase your item at half of it's current market value. I will eagerly await your reply in hope that hell is currently in the process of freezing over.

LOL!

Lowballers and freebie snatchers all speak the same language.

Thanks
Dustin, thanks for the translation :O
I'm pretty sure the current generation of English teachers have the same collective response each day, they all arrive at the door to their classrooms in the morning, pause and take a deep breath, then mutter to themselves "WTF did I go to university so I can come here every day and and deal with these idiots."

If someone came to me with a job app looking anything like that they'd soon be looking elsewhere for work. Answer my sales ad with that sort of crap and I'll have doubts whether or not you can even handle the transaction properly.

What that sort of nonsense mostly shows is that they don't give a damn about making others work harder than they should have to to comprehend. Epic fail.

hell, I saw a 40 year old woman that is in the tops of her class at college carrying a 3.5 GPA; fail a 1st grade and 2nd grade question on the game show "Are you smarter than a 5th grader" the other day. One question was "who's on the 50 cent piece??". They showed her a picture and her other clue was, "he was a famous WWII general before he became president". She guessed LBJ.
One of the others was "who is the only president to lose re-election to his former vice-president??" Her answer?? Wait for it....JFK!!!
I was wetting myself laughing so hard. There's your American Public Schools.........
