hi all, with the BHM event coming up i am close to accomplishing my goal. last year i had an accident with my beloved seaking and made a promise to myself that i would have it flying by the next year's event. well with just over a week to go, she is ready to have her new set of mechs installed and given a go for test flight. she wont be repainted yet but hopefully will be back to her usual flyng self.

here are a couple of pics taken before the crash last year.

Nice job Emile,

A helicopter, scale and/or full scale, is nothing more than;

"a bunch of spare parts flying around in loose formation, trying to rip itself apart during every moment of flight, and, always in a state of major and/or DEPOT level maintenance"

therefore, this is a normal condition.

Good Job Mang!!!

Yep, I pulled it down to install the cockpit and then had shoulder surgery that put me down for a couple of months. Now I'm working my tail off to make up for lost $$$$$ while off.

Cool, Glad you got it figured out. Of course, if it was electric that would have never happened.....

That picture cost me about $700.

sawry, $700 is a load of cash and yes i know about the electrics!! everyone has been giving me grief about the nitros lately!! am i going to have to do some scalers in electric to get y'all to hush???
so be it then
i have several electric motors and just used one of the castle creations coupons i won at mullberry to get a castle speed control so many electrics are in my future
ea01bg,
the only thing on the seaking fuselage that is new are the sponsons, and the horizontal stab will be a new one as well. century has been out of the sponsons for a while with no relief in sight so i made my own. the horiz stab i made before, so i will just make another.
the predator mechs have been swapped for my old trusty xcell 60 and the vario rotorhead i had on there before was traded for a trex600 rtf with two 6c batteries so now i have a century 5 bladedhead in place. oh, and of course a new set of main blades everything else is same.
the predator mechs had no damage so it now resides in my ec135
