I was just wondering if anyone has found some carbon blades that will work with the SR as they are a weird size.

The SR axes have a narrower cord and are a tou h longer. I would think that if you are trying to get more performance out of it the CP Pro carbons will work. To get the most out of it remove the flybar weights and bind it to a radio that you can set your own throttle and pitch curves. The radio that comes with the SR comes with lots of expo and lower control throws making it as docile as it is. If you try the boDes out let us know how it goes. This is just my guess. Good luck. The Blade CP blades are shorter and wider. I tried these since the e-flite video on the SR mentioned they would fit. I am not sure if it was my settings (i'm using a DX7) or what but the head shook and was very difficult to control in a hover, put the wood blades back on and all was smooth. so far it has been fun to fly and a good beginner CP heli. I am also interested in finding some CF blades that will work also, so keep us posted if you find some that will work.

If you want thinner and longer carbon fiber blades, Microheli makes some carbon fiber blades. I have a set and love them. They are out of stock at the moment, but other vendors may have them in stock.

I just put CP Pro II blades on my SR.
Perfect fit,so look for CF blades for the CP Pro or Pro II.

I tore up another blade.lol...I'm a menace

Anywho,I was bored and curious if my Trex 250 blades would fly the SR.
They wil!!!lol...

It hovers at the same throttle and pitch.
A little slow to react but not too shabby.

I'll take it out tomorrow for a full tilt test run.

Here's a look in the living room...
